Quote I am pondering
“We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise.” – Edward Sellner
This quote really inspired us to write down our family history and family recipes this year, especially as we say goodbye to beautiful people who recently passed. When it is our time to go, we will look back on the memories we have all created together, but documenting them will help future generations enjoy them too.
How long does a car accident case take?
While answers can vary depending on the severity of your injuries and the medical treatment that you need, we always try to outline for our clients a general timeline so you know what to expect. We explain the full system for handling a case and help figure out the best medical treatment possible. That being said, a case should only be settled once your medical treatment is completely over. After you are released from your physician, we have to order the remaining medical bills and records to submit to the insurance company, which does take time. The best rule of thumb is to communicate often with your attorney so we can keep your case moving along quickly as possible.
Shower caddies in the car make road trip food easier to contain
This is a better hack for families with little kids, but if you are on a long road trip and have food, snacks, or even toys to keep the kids entertained, consider bringing along a shower caddy to keep things in place and organized. We came across this idea in a neat list of family hacks (check out #3) and we are going to see if Miss Bethany wants to try it out! Other neat ones are adding glitter to Tooth Fairy money to make her visit more authentic, or making a kid-friendly bracelet with your phone number on it if you are heading to an amusement park or other place where there will be large crowds.

Use the 24-hour rule to save money on impulse buys
Check out this article for more info on why waiting just one day before making a purchase can help you determine if you really do need the item or not. Since so many of us shop online anyway, simply create an account and save the item(s) in a cart so that you still have access to them the next day. If you forget to buy it, chances are that you probably didn’t need it in the first place!
